PLURIAUDIT SA takes centre stage at the MGI European Conference 2026 in Athens

PLURIAUDIT SA participated in the MGI European Conference 2026, held from 23 to 25 April 2026 in Athens, one of the most important events organised by the international MGI Worldwide network, bringing together independent firms active in audit, advisory, tax and consulting services.

The event gathered professionals from across Europe, providing an important opportunity to discuss the latest developments within the profession and the new challenges affecting the audit and advisory industry in an increasingly global and interconnected economic environment.

The central day of the conference, Friday 24 April, opened with a keynote speech by Yanis Varoufakis, economist, academic and former Greek Minister of Finance, entitled:

“The future of capitalism: Why the current economic model is failing (and what comes next)”

During his presentation, Varoufakis explored the future of capitalism and the phenomenon of so-called techno-feudalism, analysing how big tech companies, digital platforms and data control are reshaping markets, economic models and global power structures. His thought-provoking speech generated significant discussion among participants.

The same day concluded with a presentation by Giulio Grazzi, director of PLURIAUDIT SA and Sandro Prosperi, director of JURISAUDIT SA, entitled:

“A planned business succession case study: PLURIAUDIT SA”

The presentation illustrated the structured succession planning process undertaken by PLURIAUDIT SA, highlighting the importance of long-term strategy, business continuity and the ability to evolve while preserving the company’s core values, culture and vision. The case study attracted considerable interest among participants, offering practical insights into governance, sustainable growth and generational transition within professional firms.
